Yacht Rental Rules & Regulations

To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and professional experience for all guests, please carefully review the following policies before your charter.

Reservation & Payment

  • All advertised prices represent the reservation payment required to secure your yacht booking.

  • A mandatory $200 gratuity fee will be added to every charter and must be paid before or after the reservation.

  • Total Price = Charter Price + Mandatory Gratuity

  • Optional Add-On: Jet skis are available upon request for an additional fee.

  • Reservations are not guaranteed until the required payment has been received.

Arrival Time

  • All guests must arrive 30–45 minutes prior to their scheduled departure time.

  • Failure to arrive on time may result in a shortened charter and no refund will be provided for lost charter time.

Valid Identification

  • Every adult guest must present a valid government-issued photo ID before boarding.

  • Guests may be denied boarding if proper identification cannot be provided.

Dock Location

  • The exact marina and docking location will be provided 48–72 hours prior to the scheduled charter date.

Late Return Fees

  • Charters that exceed the scheduled return time will incur a $120 late fee for every 30 minutes beyond the agreed charter end time.

  • Additional late fees will continue to accrue in 30-minute intervals until the yacht is returned.

Food & Beverages

  • Guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages.

  • Guests are responsible for properly disposing of trash and helping maintain the cleanliness of the yacht throughout the charter.

Alcohol & Marijuana Policy

  • Alcohol is permitted for guests who are 21 years of age or older.

  • Marijuana is permitted, subject to applicable laws and captain/crew safety requirements.

  • All other illegal drugs and prohibited controlled substances are strictly forbidden.

  • The captain reserves the right to terminate the charter immediately, without refund, if prohibited substances are found or used onboard.

Guest Capacity

  • Yachts 68 feet and larger can accommodate up to 25 guests, subject to the specific vessel's maximum capacity.

  • The first 13 guests are included in the charter price.

  • Each additional guest after 13 will be charged $100 per person, subject to the yacht's maximum permitted capacity.

Jet Ski Rentals

  • Jet skis are available for $150 per hour, per jet ski.

  • Jet ski availability is not guaranteed and is subject to weather, safety, and operational conditions.

Life Jackets

  • Coast Guard-approved life jackets are available in limited quantities.

  • Guests are encouraged to bring their own properly fitting life jackets, especially for children, to ensure proper fit, comfort, and availability.

Captain's Authority

  • The licensed captain has full authority over the vessel and all passengers.

  • Guests who act in an unsafe, reckless, threatening, or disorderly manner may be removed from the charter without a refund.

  • All guests must follow the captain's and crew's instructions at all times.

Damages & Missing Property

  • The booking party is financially responsible for any excessive damage, missing equipment, broken property, or destruction caused by members of their group.

  • Guests may be charged for repairs, replacement, or restoration resulting from damage caused during their charter.

Weather Policy

  • Charters may operate during light rain and normal weather conditions.

  • If severe weather or unsafe conditions make the charter unsafe to operate, Aura Luxe Yachts may reschedule the reservation at management's discretion.

  • Safety decisions regarding weather and vessel operation are ultimately determined by the captain and/or management.

Safety

For the safety of everyone onboard:

  • No jumping from the yacht while the vessel is moving.

  • No climbing on railings, roofs, or restricted areas.

  • No tampering with or operating vessel equipment without authorization.

  • Follow all instructions provided by the captain and crew at all times.

  • Any activity that compromises the safety of the vessel, crew, or guests is strictly prohibited.

Personal Belongings

Aura Luxe Yachts is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings brought onboard.

Guests are responsible for securing their personal items throughout the charter.

Cleaning & Excessive Mess

  • Normal cleanup is included with the charter.

  • Excessive trash, stains, vomiting, smoking-related damage, spills, or biohazard cleanup may result in additional cleaning charges.

  • The booking party is responsible for any extraordinary cleaning costs caused by their group.

Cancellations

  • Charter dates and times are reserved exclusively for the booking party.

  • Deposits and reservation payments are subject to the cancellation terms outlined in the applicable booking agreement.

  • Guests should review their booking agreement carefully before submitting payment.

Charter Inspection & Additional Fees

Upon completion of your charter, Aura Luxe Yachts provides a complimentary 30-minute inspection period to allow our staff to thoroughly inspect the yacht, equipment, furnishings, and amenities for damage, missing items, excessive cleaning requirements, or other issues.

If no issues are found during the inspection, no additional charges will apply.

If the inspection reveals damages, missing property, excessive cleaning, late-return fees, fuel-related charges (if applicable), or other costs resulting from violations of the charter agreement, the booking party will be financially responsible for all applicable fees.

Additional charges may be billed to the payment method on file or collected through another approved payment method.

By booking with Aura Luxe Yachts, the booking party acknowledges and agrees to this inspection process and accepts responsibility for any verified additional charges incurred during the charter.

Agreement

By submitting a reservation payment and boarding the yacht, the booking party acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all rules, regulations, terms, and safety policies established by Aura Luxe Yachts.

Aura Luxe Yachts reserves the right to refuse boarding or terminate any charter without refund if these policies are violated or if the safety, security, or integrity of the vessel, crew, or guests is compromised.
